As we grow up, it can be easy to forget why we are buying toys. Whether it’s for a kid’s birthday, or for a new arrival, we can forget the magic that they can bring, instead focusing on ticking a box of ‘I need something to give them’. But toys are magical. Whether a little one is pretending to fly a rocket into outer space, building dream towers with bricks, creating a fashion show or racing on their bike, a child’s experience of toys can be very different to how we, as adults, would see them.
